MSG (Monosodium Glutamate)
MSG, a "flavor enhancer," is frequently associated with various types of Asian food.
I found it listed as an ingredient in these non-Asian products,
and I'll bet there are plenty more where these came from....
I should point out that I am not the only one (Hi, R.!) who believes that small amounts of MSG are included under the name "spice(s)" in some ingredient lists, but
I think that those amounts should at least be relatively small ones, as long as "spice(s)" is not a primary ingredient of the product. Perhaps the manufacturers below should be
respected for at least openly listing MSG, but maybe they are legally required to because of the size of the quantity they use.
