• While I haven't checked out his recent stuff, Damien Israel Shiner has quite an impressive voice. I bought a CD of his former band, Shiner Jones (which dissolved in 2006), when they put on a swell, all ages, outdoor show at the Somerville, MA, Union Square Farmers Market.
